Taurus Tremani Bartlett, better known by his screen name Polo G is an American rapper and songwriter. He is best recognized for his song Pop Out. Mr. Capalot or Polo Capalot as he is often referred to within Chicago Illinois started to gain popularity after releasing songs on YouTube. In the beginning, he released songs like the Come Up and NEVER CARED. Later, he made his SoundCloud debut by releasing the mixtape "OFFICIAL POLO.G SUNDCLOUD". Gang With Me, his debut single, was quickly followed by his hit single Better things. The latter was written while being in jail. The song became his breakout single and millions of viewers watched it on YouTube. The song brought him into the spotlight. In the ensuing weeks, major labels expressed their interest. Pop Out featuring Lil Tjay was finally released to the public on a day after the rapper signed a distribution agreement with Columbia Records. The song received millions in viewings on YouTube. Furthermore it landed 22nd on Billboard Hot 100. In time, Polo G became a YouTube sensation and also earned decent recognition on other platforms like Instagram as well as Twitter.
