Scarlett Johansson (born November 22 1984 New York City New York, U.S.) American actress and vocalist whose dramatic varied performances earned her the acclaim of fans in a variety of genres ranging from period drama to thriller and action adventure. Johansson was born in New York City, and was raised there by her producers mother and father, who were both architects. Hunter, her twin, and Johansson both were the smallest of the four kids. As early as age seven, she was making auditions for commercials on television. She joined the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute shortly after that and was enrolled in the Professional Children's School, Manhattan to continue her training. Johansson made her debut a film actress in North (1994) when she was the age of nine. When she was eight years old, she starred alongside Ethan Hawke on Off-Broadway in Sophistry. Johansson also appeared for the first time in Just Cause, but she made her breakthrough through Manny & Lo, a film about orphaned siblings who fled. Then, she was awarded critical praise for portraying one of the teens who been injured and resulted in her being disfigured on screen in The Horse Whisperer (1998). The film gained her more attention with the film Ghost World (2001) as the cynical outcast Rebecca. The actress became famous due to her portrayal on Nell Jones, the CBS hit program NCIS Los Angeles. The award-winning actress was among the main cast members on the series. Alongside appearing in the show, she's an excellent stage actress. Renee Felice Smith is well-known for her outstanding performances in such shows as Wildflower. Renee Felice Smith began her professional career from a young age. As a child she was intrigued by acting. Smith's parents helped her with having her first performance when she was six. She was the lead in a Dannon commercial on TV. As with many actresses who started out she decided to hone her skills in the field of theater. She would work in different USA productions while getting her stage debut in the company of Wildflower. Her education was at the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
