Dina was born in Forest Hills in Queens. New York. But she moved into Dix Hills on Long Island just before she finished her senior year. Dina Meyer has two brothers. Gregory is her elder brother and Evan is her younger brother. The modeling profession was her first experience within the business. She did it from age nine to sixteen. Her acting career began with The Neighborhood Playhouse, New York. She studied Sanford Meisner's techniques with Ron Stetson for three years. Sandra Bullock and Michael Douglas were among the other actors that received this education. Her first role was in Beverly Hills 90210 which forced her to relocate from Beverly Hills to Los Angeles. Within the following couple of months, she was offered the role as Johnny Mnemonic. For this film, she was in charge for almost all the stunts and proved herself to be an accomplished actress. Her agent for talent also represented Matt LeBlanc so, through her agent she was able to secure a role in the show Friends.
